Where is it?

どこですか"Where is it?"

When telling or asking where something/someone is, the sentence pattern, [something/someone] wa [location] desu, is commonly used.
"Where" is doko in Japanese. [Something/someone] wa [location] desu ka? is a common phrase for asking for the location of something/someone.

すいませんvs.すみません"Excuse me"

Sumimasen means "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry" in Japanese. In daily conversation, people normally say suimasen and therefore, at Coscom, we use suimasen in our materials.

あそこ"over there"

Koko, soko, asoko mean "here", "there" and "over there" in Japanese.

"next to"

Tonari is a location word meaning "next to". "Near" is chikaku, "in front of" or "opposite side" is mae.

どうも ありがとう ございます"Thank you very much"

There are several phrases for "Thank you." according to the level of politeness.
"You are welcome." is Doo itashimashite.
