Beginner 1 - Basic Structure

[ subject ] wa [ something ] o nomimasu
1.Watashi wa koocha o nomimasu.
I (will) drink (a cup of) tea.
2.Watashi wa koohii o nomimasen.
I don't drink coffee.
3.Watashi wa maiasa orenji-juusu o nomimasu.
I drink (a glass of) orange juice every morning.
4.Chichi wa mainichi kusuri o nomimasu.
My father takes medicine every day.

Beginner 2 - Functional Patterns

5.Kyoo wa atsui kara tsumetai biiru o nomi-tai desu.
It's hot today, so I want to drink cold beer.
6.Kinoo no ban wain o nonde, pasuta o tabemashita.
I drank (some) wine and ate pasta last night.
7.Susan-san wa osake o nomemasen.
Susan cannot drink alcohol.
8.Watashi wa Oosutoraria no wain o nonda koto ga arimasu.
I have drunk Australian wine before.
9.Kono kusuri o nomeba, sugu naorimasu.
If you take this medicine, you will get better soon.

Beginner 3 - Casual Speech

10.A:Yoku osake o nomu.
B:Uun. Zenzen nomanai.
A:Do you often drink alcohol?
B:No. I don't.
11.A:Kono wain o nonda?
B:Un. Nonda. Oishikatta.
A:Did you drink this wine?
B:Yes. I did. It's good.
