Beginner 1 - Basic Structure

I'm going to the bank today. |
2. | Watashi wa ashita kaisha ni ikimasen. |
I will not go to my office tomorrow. |

I go to my office by train. |
4. | Tanaka-san wa natsu-yasumi tomodachi to Hawai ni ikimashita. |
Tanaka went to Hawaii with his friends for the summer vacation. |
Beginner 2 - Functional Patterns
5. | Watashi wa Nihon ni itta koto ga arimasu. |
I have been to Japan. (lit. I have gone to Japan) |
6. | Tanaka-san wa ashita Hiroshima ni iku soo desu. |
I heard (he said) Tanaka will go to Hiroshima tomorrow. |
7. | Watashi wa kyoo taishikan ni ikanakereba narimasen. |
I have to go to the embassy today. |
8. | Fuyu-yasumi Kanada ni iki-tai desu. |

Beginner 3 - Casual Speech
