First step to learning Japanese

Let's start to learn Japanese. You can make various sentences just using basic vocabulary.

First step in learning Japanese - learning the basics

Step 1 : This is a mobile phone.

Kore wa   keitai desu

This is the simplest sentence structure of Japanese language.
You can make various sentences by using just nouns.

Step 2 : This is not a mobile phone.

Kore wa   keitai janai desu

Learn how to make the negative sentences.

Step 3 : That is a Japanese car.

Kore wa   Nihon no   kuruma desu

Add more information to the sentence, like not just "a car", but "a Japanese car".

Step 4 : Is that a mobile phone?

Sore wa   keitai desu ka?

Step 6 : I will go to Kyoto tomorrow.

Step 7 : Where are you going on Sunday?

Nichi-yoobi   doko ni   ikimasu ka?

Ask your friend where he/she is going with the time words such as Sunda and Monday.

Step 8 : I will eat pizza tonight.

Watashi wa   konban   piza o   tabemasu
