Practice Each Sentence

1. Konshuu wa ii tenki ni narimasu.

konshuu this week, ii tenki nice weather, fine day, beautiful day
ii good, nice, fine, tenki weather, narimasu to become, come to

2. Ame wa furimasen.

ame ga furimasu to rain, ame rain, furimasu to fall (rain, snow)

3. Demo, samui hi ga tsuzukimasu.

demo however, but, samui cold, hi day

4. Kita no chihoo de wa mainichi oo-yuki ga futte imasu.

kita no chihoo northern part, northern region (of Japan)
kita North, chihoo local, region, -de place marker; in, at
mainichi every day, oo-yuki heavy snow, oo- big, large, yuki snow
yuki ga furimasu to snow, futte te form of furimasu; fall (rain, snow)
-te imasu expressing progressive or state

5. Kore kara 1-kagetsu Nihon wa ichiban samui jiki desu.

kore kara from now, ikkagetsu (for) one month
ichiban samui coldest, ichiban No.1, most, -est, samui cold
jiki time, period, season

6. Saikoo-kion wa 8-do kara 10-do.

saikoo-kion the highest temperature, saikoo the highest, maximum
kion (air) temperature, -do degrees (celsius), -kara from

7. Saitei-kion wa 0-do kara 2-do gurai deshoo.

saitei-kion lowest temperature, saitei the lowest, minimum
kion (air) temperature, -do degrees (celsius), -gurai / -kurai about, approximately
