Practice Each Sentence

1. 20-ka no getsu-yoobi wa Kumori nochi Ame.

hatsuka 20th. of the month, getsu-yoobi Monday
kumori cloudy weather, nochi later, after, ame rain

2. Yuugata kara ame ga furu deshoo.

yuugata late afternoon, early evening, -kara from
ame ga furimasu to rain, furu root form of furimasu; fall (rain, snow)
-deshoo expressing conjecture; should be, must be

3. Demo, tsugi no hi, ka-yoobi wa Hare, sui-yoobi mo Hare nochi Kumori.

5. Moku-yoobi kara wa haretari, kumottari no tenki ga tsuzukimasu.

moku-yoobi Thursday, -kara from
hareta ta form of haremasu; be fine, clear, kumotta ta form of kumorimasu; become cloudy
-tari, -tari, (shimasu) vary, doing this and that alternatively
tenki weather, tsuzukimasu to continue, last, go on, keep on

6. Moku-yoobi wa tokidoki ame ga furu kamo shiremasen.

moku-yoobi Thursday, tokidoki sometimes, partly
ame ga furimasu to rain, furu root form of furimasu; fall (rain, snow)
-kamo shiremasen expressing possibility; possibly, could be, probably, maybe

7. Kion mo agattari, sagattari, shimasu.

kion (atmospheric) temperature, -mo also, too
agatta ta form of agarimasu; go up, rise, sagatta ta form of sagarimasu; go down, fall, drop
-tari, -tari, shimasu vary, doing this and that alternatively

8. Saikoo-kion wa 10-do kara 18-do.

saikoo-kion highest temperature, saikoo highest, maximum
kion (atmospheric) temperature, -do degree (celsius, centigrade, angle, etc.)

9. Saitei-kion wa 1-do kara 6-do gurai deshoo.

saitei-kion lowest temperature, saitei lowest, minimum
-gurai about, approximately, -deshoo should be, must be
