Zannen nagara, konshuu wa zutto tenki ga warui desu.

Getsu-yoobi wa 1-nichi-juu Ame ga furimasu.

Ka-yoobi mo asa wa Ame ga furimasu.
Demo, Ame wa hiru-goro yamu deshoo.
Soshite, gogo wa Hareru deshoo.

Demo, sui-yoobi kara mata tenki wa waruku narimasu.

Saikoo-kion wa 20-do ika.
Aki toiu yori, Fuyu ga hajimatta mitai desu.

Practice Each Sentence

1. Zannen nagara, konshuu wa zutto tenki ga warui desu.

zannen nagara unfortunately, konshuu this week
zutto all the time, all along, for a long time
tenki weather, warui bad

2. Getsu-yoobi wa 1-nichi-juu Ame ga furimasu.

getsu-yoobi Monday, ichi-nichi-juu all day long, ichi-nichi one day
ame ga furimasu to rain, ame rain, furimasu to fall (rain, snow)

3. Ka-yoobi mo asa wa Ame ga furimasu.

ka-yoobi Tuesday, -mo also, too
asa morning, ame ga furimasu to rain

4. Demo, Ame wa hiru-goro yamu deshoo.

demo however, but, ame ga yamimasu stop raining (set phrase)
yamu root form of yamimasu; stop (rain, wind, noise, etc.)
-deshoo expressing conjecture; should be, must be
hiru-goro about noon, around noon , -goro / -koro around (time)

5. Soshite, gogo wa Hareru deshoo.

soshite and, gogo p.m., afternoon
hareru root form of haremasu; clear up, -deshoo should be, must be

6. Demo, sui-yoobi kara mata tenki wa waruku narimasu.

demo however, but, sui-yoobi Wednesday, -kara from
mata again, tenki weather
waruku ku form of warui; bad, narimasu to become, come to

7. Saikoo-kion wa 20-do ika.

saikoo-kion highest temperature, saikoo highest, maximum
kion (atmospheric) temperature, -do degrees (celsius)
ika A or less, A or below, A or under

8. Aki toiu yori, Fuyu ga hajimatta mitai desu.

aki autumn, fall, [A] toiu yori, [B] B rather than A
fuyu winter, hajimatta ta form of hajimarimasu; start, begin
-mitai desu expressing something figuratively; be like, looks like, sounds like
