-choo means "the head" or "the leader".

11. Kodomo-tachi wa onaka ga suite, ban-gohan ga tanoshimi datta deshoo ne.

kodomo-tachi children, -tachi making plural for people
onaka ga sukimasu be hungry, become hungry (set phrase)
onaka stomach, abdomen, belly, suite te form of sukimasu; become less crowded, become empty
ban-gohan dinner, tanoshimi look forward to, can't wait, -deshoo ne tag question; isn't it?, aren't they?
