There are many Western style hotels in Japan but Ryokans are still very popular among Japanese.
At a Ryokan, a serving lady called Nakai-san will bring dinner to your room.
Why don't you stay at Ryokan. It should be a good experience.

Nihon-shiki no hoteru o ryokan to yobimasu.
Ryokan no heya wa Washitsu desu.

Washitsu to wa yuka ga Tatami no heya no koto desu.
Neru toki wa Tatami no ue ni Futon o shiite, nemasu.

Ryokan no ryookin ni wa yuushoku to chooshoku ga fukumarete imasu.
Ryokan no ryoori wa Washoku ga chuushin desu.

(person) does (something) for you/me.

shikimasu to lay, spread, hakobimasu to carry, oshiemasu to tell, show, teach
eki (train) station, kaidan stairs, steps, nimotsu baggage, belonging, stuff
motte te form of mochimasu; carry, hold, take with, -tara when, otoko no hito man

B.[ verb te form ] -te miru to ii / [ verb te form ] -mitara ii desu

This phrase contains two functional patterns, -te miru and -to ii.
-te miru means "try to do".
-to ii expresses an advice or a suggestion "you should do".
Kare ni kiite miru to ii means "You should (try to) ask him. (he probably knows it)".
There is a similar pattern -tara ii. -tara ii is probably more common in everyday conversation.
